City Council Members

The Paris City Council consists of four council members and a mayor. The Mayor conducts the business of the City of Paris as head administrator with input from the City Council. The Mayor does not vote on any issue unless there is a tie.

The City Council meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM to conduct the business of the city, review policies and ordinances and set budgets. If there is an election or holiday, the meeting is moved to the following Thursday.

City Staff

The City staff serve the residents of Paris in various capacities from in the office to in the field. The City Offices are only open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8AM – 5PM. Public Works is only available Monday – Friday 7AM – 3PM and on call for emergencies.
